A River Ran Through It

On Wednesday, July 7, 2004 five inches of rain fell in three hours which caused a flood from Western Run and the Jones Falls. The children's pool, tennis courts, playground and parking lot were under water. When the water receded, we were left with mud. Lots of mud. We are working hard to restore everything to normal as quickly as possible. Until it rains (lightly we hope) the parking lot will be dusty. And until it rains and the grass can grow through the mud, we are keeping people off the grass by the children's pool to keep the mud off the deck and out of the pool If your chair is not where you left it, it is because we had to clean them after the flood.
