Main Outdoor Pool
Main Outdoor Pool
The water quality in all of the pools is consistently excellent. The facility can accomodate a wide range of water enthusiasts - from family recreation to the serious competitor. -- M. Kinnison
The main outdoor pool, open from Memorial Day to the end of September, is 50 meters long by 10 lanes wide, with a separate shallow end. Originally constructed in 1930, the pool now has a movable fiberglass and steel bulkhead across six lanes which creates a 6-lane 25 meter course, a 5-lane 25 yard course, and allows five 50 meter lanes available for training, and/or recreation. Most summer days, six 25 meter, two 25 yard, and two 50 meter lanes are available for lap swimming/training. The pool has a ramp in the shallow end to allow for disabled entry. A one meter diving board is in the deep end.

Children's Outdoor Pool
The outdoor children's recreational pool was constructed in 1997. It measures 2400 square feet (about 70x35 feet) and has a maximum depth of 2-1/2 feet. Located on the lawn between Meadowbrook and the Northwest Ice Rink, this pool has a number of features which make it a popular choice for children and parents.

Children's Outdoor PoolSeparated from the main pool by a fence and having a fully shaded lawn and new pavilion offering shade and privacy, the pool is almost a club within a club. Elegant and beautiful landscaping surround this pool with terra cotta edging and green tile accents. The pavilion, reconstructed with pressure treated lumber and dark green metal roof offers a great view of the pool and a popular place to eat and have a party. Children love the zero depth walk-in at the base of the shallow end complete with gentle water jets. Further in, tiled crabs, angel fish and dolphins are found along the bottom of the pool. A raindrop fountain and shallow water jets add excitement for kids of all ages. Deeper into this pool you find benches along the western edge of the shallow end, an island with a squirting whale and then the “deep end” 30 inches in depth with four air bubblers for kids' enjoyment. Benches continue around the perimeter of this end of the pool with stairs leading up and out the entire western edge of the pool.

Outdoor Tennis Courts
Meadowbrook has four Har-Tru courts which are resurfaced each spring and maintained daily at optimum playing conditions. Har-Tru courts are a clay type surface which allows for less stress on knee, ankle and hip joints when playing. Courts are available for members and their guests' use from May until October. Courts may be reserved for play up to one day in advance. Maintenance (rolling and sweeping) of courts may be scheduled during unreserved times.

"Tennis Only" memberships are available. Call for more information
