Fitness Istructors
Jessi HolmanAhart I first worked the fitness industry in 1988. Since then, I have been trained as a teacher, swim instructor, lifeguard instructor, personal trainer and manager. I began teaching group aqua fitness courses here at Meadowbrook in 2005, and began my personal training career here last summer. I am also an assistant manager, responsible for scheduling group classes and have other special duties. My passion is teaching. I especially enjoy taking my students’ (and clients’) where they are, and building through a process and at a pace appropriate to their individual needs. I love sharing challenges with my students and clients. Whether they are afraid, have other special needs, want to age with grace, or just love the water, I will tailor my approach daily to meet their needs.

Erin Dauses I grew up in Towson and have been a lifelong fitness enthusiast. I remember visiting Meadowbrook for swim meets when I was younger, so I am super excited to be able to work with such a great team and teach here. I have been a certified Spinning instructor for over four years and have been a certified TRX instructor for two years. My training philosophy is "you did not show up to give up! Make sure you are giving it your personal best each and every time you work out." I'd also like to extend a warm invitation to those who may have never taken a class before. Step out of your comfort zone and try something new- you may enjoy yourself! |

Mara Irwin I started teaching group fitness classes when I was a Sophomore at the University of Maryland in December, 2007. After doing gymnastics for most of my life I wanted to keep being active, and motivate others to exercise and stay healthy with me. My classes do not focus on the idea that you are burning continuous calories, but instead that you are having a great time will exercising. |
