MARINER POINT SWIM CLUB
REGULATIONS
Membership - Section 1
- The Summer season begins on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and ends on the Monday of Labor Day weekend.
- Memberships are available for Family and Single use.
- Members must be 18 years or older for single memberships. Senior rates are available for those 65 and older.
- Families are defined as up to two adults and dependent children under 23 years of age all of whom live at the same residential address. Proof of Residency may be required.
- Each family membership which has children under 12 years of age is allowed the privilege of one free babysitter aged 16 years or over. This babysitter is allowed to use the facility in the capacity of a babysitter accompanied by the children under 12 years of age. This babysitter does not have guest privileges. Any changes to the permanent babysitter for any reason made after June 1 will incur a forty dollar ($40.00) fee.
- Each member must check in at the computerized check-in for each visit. Each family member will receive a number to use for check-in. Digital photographs will taken onsite and used for membership verification.
Guest Policies - Section 2
- A guest is any non-member on the premises for any reason. Facility usage or lack thereof is not a factor in determining the payment of a guest fee.
- Children under the age of twelve are allowed child guests when accompanied by the adult(s) on their membership or their permanent babysitter.
- Guest fees are $5.00 per person per day and are payable at the front desk before entering the facility.
- Guests must be accompanied by a membership at all times.
- House guests may obtain a weekly pass for $15.00 per person per week. As all guests, they must be accompanied by the membership.
- The guest limit is 6 guests per family Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day) and 15 guests on weekdays.
General Regulations - Section 3
- There is no alcohol nor any glass containers allowed on the premises. Management and staff will inspect coolers and parcels to enforce this regulation.
- Mariner Point is a smoke-free facility.
- Playing of radios and stereos at a loudness level distracting to other persons is not allowed.
- Rifle type and battery operated water guns are not allowed.
- Diving is prohibited in water less than five feet deep. Diving from starting platforms is not allowed unless under the supervision of an accredited coach.
- Food is not allowed at or near the pool edge, in the locker rooms.
- Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children. Children under 12 may not be left at the pool unattended. Children 5 and under must be accompanied to the locker room.
- Mariner Point accepts no liability for any item left at the facility. Toys and flotation devices may not be left at the facility.
- Children under 9 years of age must pass the deep water test to swim in the deep end
- Parties should be scheduled in advance. In the summer, parents need to notify the management two weeks in advance of a party. Only two parties can occur on a given day. Parties may be co-sponsored by participating families and in that case may only be as large as 30 persons.
- Mariner Point requires the use of swim diapers and/ or plastic pants on children who are not toilet trained, or marginally trained and prone to accidents.
- The use of flotation devices such as rafts, noodles, inner tubes and water wings is at the discretion of the management. Diving sticks are prohibited.
- Pushing, shoving, dunking, throwing children, "chicken-fighting" or rough play of any kind is not permitted.
- No bicycles, skateboards, scooters, or rollerblades are permitted in the pool area.
Management reserves the right to abridge or expand upon these regulations when it is deemed necessary by management.
